Our fall show invites us to journey through worlds both ancient and yet to come, into spaces where imagination reigns supreme. Suggested forms and dreamlike realms open the door to the imagination, inviting us to conjure stories from elsewhere, from another time.
The sumptuous oxidised paintings by Frédérique Domergue, a permanent artist of the gallery, will be presented alongside works by two artists making their debut at the gallery:
– Claire Roger, a ceramic artist whose finely detailed creations unfold as visual narratives, reminiscent of ancient Greek vases;
– Florence Jarrige, who sculpts forms that appear to emerge from the stone, reaching upwards towards the sky.
