My oeuvre has always been concerned with the private and the everyday — spaces where ritual and intimacy quietly shape our lives. Bathrooms, kitchens, domestic interiors— these are not grand stages, yet they hold an entire theater of tenderness, repetition, and care.

The women in my paintings are not posed for you; they are caught in their own moments — bathing, tending, comforting, or simply pausing. I’m drawn to these acts because they are both ordinary and sacred.

In this show, you will find scenes that may feel familiar, perhaps even like memories you’ve carried without realising. My hope is that as you move through the work, you sense both the universality and the privacy of these moments — and leave with a renewed attention to the quiet rituals in your own life.
