Born in 1960 in Nancy, the granddaughter of painter François Sauvageot displayed artistic talents in both music and drawing from an early age and received support from her mother in developing her artistic skills.

After several years of study at the conservatory, music became her profession, while drawing and painting remained personal, private pastimes. Largely self-taught, she took four years of figurative art classes at the Municipal School of Fine Arts in Paris with Rémi Aron. In 2018, she took the leap to pursue her dream—becoming a full-time painter.

Inspired by everyday objects from which she captures a refined delicacy, she draws from the masters who made her fall in love with art : Chardin, Morandi, Corot, Diebenkorn, among many others.
